Why BAUMEX® polymer fiber?

 

Structural design

Thanks to extreme durability of polymers our fibre retain their full characteristics during entire floor lifespan, as well as in case of exposition to sun, wind, rain.

Effectiveness

Fiber is as effective as its ability to take over energy of cracking concrete.

Strength

Uniform strength of concrete slab is guaranteed by fibre maximum adhesion to concrete structure and their even distribution.


Lightness

Reinforcement weight greatly limited thanks to polymer fibres' tensile strength and their lightness. Traditional mesh and steel fiber reinforcement may be avoided. What's more: polymer fiber reduces cracking while fresh concrete shrink.

Crowd power

BAUMEX fibre strength stems from enormous number of single "hair" and their even distribution in concrete. Innovative shape ensures multi-directional anchoring.  

All-purpose

Multiple dosage options let designers use polymer fibre for anti-cracking-during-shrink-proccess purpose only, as well as for structural reinforcement.

Easy and quick application, reduced transport expenses influence total project cost.

Chemical-proofness

Resistance to oxidization and corrosion (from chloride, sulphate and salts) make polymer fiber great for aggressive environments: marine and chemical industry.

Lower processing costs (compared to steel), lightness and little doses required result in reduced transportation cost and fuel consumption.


Environment-friendly
While manufacturing polymer fiber no fumes are emitted. Raw materials do not produce smoke in case of fire.   
As this is not steel, no interference arise, allowing polymers to be used for hospitals construction, precise industry, automated warehouses, etc.

Safety
Easy to use, dosed at concrete company or to concrete mixer - polymer fibres save time compared to traditional mesh application, which influences worforce safety.
