Museum floor - neutral appearance allowing meditation.

Every Pole should recognize Palmiry memorial site. It is the place where secret executions of Warsaw inhabitants were carried out by Nazis during World War II. Deep in Kampinos forest, nearby Warsaw.

In 2009, by the already existing graveyard, a new pavilion of the museum was built. Architects from WXCA studio ventured on simplicity: concrete walls of the museum, elevation covered with weathering steel and glass. And museum interiors with concrete floor.

Bautech DST hardened concrete floor used for exhibition halls does not compete with the modest exhibition. The flooring is almost unnoticeable here; it dissolves in relatively dark interior of the museum exhibition halls.

Museum floor should be perfectly finished. It is crucial to pick an experienced contractor who ensures the final effect delights visitors for many years. Materials used should be proven and of very high quality, which guarantees dependable floor for long period the building is expected to serve the public.

Important factors to be taken into account with museum are wearability and load resistance. These requirements are perfectly fulfilled by Bautech DST (dry shake topping) hardened concrete floors. In addition to that this type of surface is both the cheapest (with areas of approx 1000 sq. m) to lay and easy to maintain later on.
