Hotel lobby. While "cold" titanium-coloured hardener had been used for the floor, "warm" glow is visible due to artificial lighting.

Hotel flooring (hall, restaurant)
Project name: Ibis Styles hotel, "Czary Mary" restaurant
Technology: Hardened concrete flooring, grinded, titanium-grey
Possible use: hotel, inn, plaza, lobby, restaurant, bar
As far as practical, hard floor is concerned - concrete and ceramic tiles are major choices. Tiles are played out, hence we recommend concrete. If you take care of this at a blueprint stage of your project, concrete will turn out cheaper than tiles.
- Scandinavian simplicity at its peak. Tiles and marbles remind the 90s and their ornamental architecture. Concrete may stay up to date longer than 20 years.
- Abrasion and dust resistance is obtained with proper concrete hardener and sealer. For hotel lobbies we recommend medium-upper metallic hardener (Bautop® Enduro), together with Nano densifier for slab penetration (Terraseal®). This set will resist intensive people traffic for many years.
- How long will the proccess take? With pouring concrete for the structural layer and finishing it in one major step, the entire project may take a few days to complete and then 3-4 weeks to cure (possible people traffic during this period).
- Colour range available.
- With slab thickness and reinforcement amount manipulation the floor's load resistance and its cost per square meter may be adapted to your needs.
- If you already have ready made concrete slab (prepared for wooden flooring or carpet), investigate our Baufloor® concrete flooring screed.
- Flooring maintenance. Concrete floor is easy to sweep, mop; most household cleaning solutions applicable. Will resist spilled wine and coffee.
With large foyer, as pictured, concrete is a cost effective solution - cheaper than any other flooring. Moreover, will retain an excellent appearance for decades, contrary to some liners or wood.
We offer the entire flooring system: hardener, reinforcing fiber, sealer, contraction joints sealants. Check where we deliver!

Hotel lobby. Polished concrete warmed up with a carpet.
At the entrance traffic is at its peak. Lots of sandpaper-like dirt brought into. Hence high-end metallic hardener is recommended.
